General Rules and Regulations of Our College

 

 

     1.    All Students wear clean, appropriate clothing

     2.    Friends as a symbol of culture and virtue greet your classmate, professor for meet the first time.

     3.    When the first bell rang announcing that college began, students sit in their classroom in appropriate place

     4.    Sit in alphabetically in the classroom

     5.    Be silent when you enter the classroom

     6.    Stand up when the professor came. Be seated, after the professor sits down or he told to sit.

     7.    Late students should stand at the entrance of the classroom until the professor permit you.

     8.    Without permission from the professor, no student will be allowed to go outside.

     9.    Late comers will not be allowed for the reason of tuition fee remittance, for getting book from library or going outside of the classroom

    10.  Move quietly within the prescribed time for other classroom after end of a class.

    11.  Cycles must be parked at the prescribed place, otherwise fine will be levied.

    12.  Students must stand up when national anthem was sung.

    13.  Without principal’s permission no student will be allowed to go to any professor’s room or office.

    14.  No meeting will be held without the written permission of the principal.

    15.  Do not collect money without the written permission of the principal.

    16.  Students should not take part in political, communal revolt against government. Do not take part of association or action against student’s welfare as considered by the principal.

    17.  Students must read the reports and news from college notice board. Without reading reports and knowing news, not doing principal’s order will not be forgiven.

    18.  Students who damage the College properties will punish severely. Value of the damaged property will be recovered as fine.

    19.  Fees concession will be removed for students those who are participated in strike as per G.O. No. 497 (education) dt. 20.4.1948).

    20.  As per the students and college welfare, under Tamilnadu government education rule 97, principal has the right to give punishment for the following reasons.

         (Collection of fine,  not attending class, temporary termination and permanent termination from college).

    21.  Principal’s decision is final for taking action against the students those do not adhere the rules and regulation.

   22.  Students also follow discipline and good conduct not mentioning in the above. The following must be taken into account for university exam. a) based on marks obtained in exams and class tests in the year b) discipline in the following i) forwarding registers of students studying science subjects ii) forwarding essay translate registers iii) discipline in attendance iv) discipline and good conduct

    23.  Those students good in academic but have bad habits and conduct will not be allowed to attend exams. Those students will not be permitted to study in the next year on the same  class.

    24.  Stay in the waiting room whenever there is no class.
